We are currently working with a range of organisations including the the University of Washington, Indiana University, HTC, Laerdal Global Health, USAID, DFID and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to develop and deliver high-quality smartphone and low-cost VR training to healthcare workers.

LIFE for Non-Profit Organisations

Non-profit organisations currently deliver a wide range of healthcare training programmes in low-income countries. As healthcare workers in these countries adopt smartphone and VR technologies, we will work with these organisations to incorporate smartphone and VR simulations as part of their programmes.

The potential for scaling training, a key priority for many such programmes, is vast. Not only can more consistent and up to date training reach more professionals than ever before, but feedback through anonymised data collection enables organisations to demonstrate their activity, audit and improve it, consistent with their responsibility to both the donors and recipients of support.

LIFE for Healthcare Institutions

The LIFE platform offers healthcare organisations such as NHS Foundation Trusts, GP consortia and private institutions the capability to provide personalised training to employees and track performance and skill retention over time.

While traditional simulation training is effective, it is expensive and time-consuming to provide training for each employee at adequate frequency to ensure that skills are maintained over the course of their employment.

As users complete training scenarios on the LIFE platform, they can earn Professional Development certificates which are maintained through refresher scenarios delivered on a timeline personalised to each user’s training profile.

The LIFE platform will use data on individual performance to ensure that refresher training is delivered at the right time intervals to maintain skill-levels and to allow the user to keep their Professional Development certificates up to date.
