VR for Impact 2017
The LIFE project is one of 5 winners of the 2017 VR for Impact competition:
VR for Impact is a multi-year program providing grants to VR projects in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The UN goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Through VR for Impact, HTC Vive is committing $10 million dollars to developers, creators and VR dreamers to build something new, something that speaks to our humanity and has the potential to change the world.
Saving Lives at Birth Grand Challenge 2016
The LIFE project was one of the 12 winners of seed funding from the 2016 Saving Lives at Birth Grand Challenge, chosen from over 650 applicants.
Saving Lives at Birth is a partnership between the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Grand Challenges Canada, the UK Department for International Development (DFID), and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
